Volunteers are needed to staff an RRRA information table at the 18th annual Breakfast On The Farm at Herbranson Farms, Hawley, Minnesota, on Saturday, June 2, 2018.
RRRA members interested on helping to raise awareness about our club, and Amateur Radio in the Red River Valley, are encouraged to contact .
On May 19, 2018, 22 Amateur Radio Operators—led by KD0IOE and KC0SHM—provided public service communication support for the Fargo Marathon under the auspices of the Red River Radio Amateurs club.
These operators were stationed at 19 locations across the Fargo / Moorhead area. They tracked progress of the races and passed other tactical traffic. Some of the operators are depicted in the RRRA Fargo Marathon 2018 photo album:
On April 28 a group of RRRA members—led by N0IPC—provided communication support in the vicinity of West Fargo Veterans Memorial Arena for the 2018 MS Walk.
Five stations and a SAG vehicle were staffed by these operators. The SAG vehicle was donated by Gateway Chevrolet.

Field Day is Amateur Radio’s open house. It is a picnic, a campout, practice for emergencies, an informal contest and, most of all, fun!
Field Day is held on the 4th weekend in June; in 2018 that is 1:00PM CDT Saturday, June 23rd, to 3:59PM CDT Sunday, June 24th.
