Bring Your Rig to Sabin City Park

Because of last summer’s very successful outdoor antenna event, we are having a Bring Your Rig To The Park event for our next club meeting, from 5–8:30 PM on Tuesday, July 16, at Sabin, MN, City Park

Ice cream and pie are involved, so we’ll need a head count. Please RSVP to the if you will be attending.

Power Tool Batteries for Portable or Emergency Operations (QST)

Novak, AF5KA, demonstrates how inexpensive DC–DC convertors can turn easily accessible lithium power tool batteries into a good backup or portable source for powering a radio.

This is a very timely and topical discussion in light of RRRA’s July Portable Operations July Activity.
