Red River Radio Amateurs

Beginning in January 2024 RRRA club meetings / activities and RRRAES ARES meetings will be held at the West Fargo Fire Department Headquarters.

Membership renewals for 2024 are due at the January club meeting.

Officers and a Board of Directors are essential to the operation of the Red River Radio Amateurs and our club owes a debt of gratitude to those who have stepped forward to fill these leadership positions.

But we can not continue to depend upon the same few individuals year after year. It is well past time for new officers to step forward from within our membership.

As specified in Article III of the RRRA Bylaws, a leadership election will be conducted during the February Meeting.

RRRA will not be providing communication support for the 2023 Jingle Bell Run because no one was willing to volunteer to coordinate the radio operators.

Our inability to service existing public service communication clients could very likely lead to fewer future oportunities for RRRA to fulfill the fundamental purpose of the Amateur Radio Sevice defined in 14 CFR Part 91.1 (a).
