It’s time to start planning for the 2022 ARRL Dakota Division Convention and RRRA Hamfest. This is the largest Hamfest in North Dakota drawing attendees from 3 states and 1 Canadian province. Committee members are needed to plan and run this major fund raising activity for our club. Lots of volunteers will make the work easy for everyone.
Hamfest Committee Meetings will be listed in our homepage Upcoming Events section and in the Hamfest Committee Dates index.
The Hamfest Committee will use a mailing list for coordination and to assist the planning process; volunteers are asked to subscribe to the hamfest mailing list so that they can stay informed and be a part of the conversation. Volunteers may subscribe multiple addresses (e.g. work and mobile e-mail) if desired.
Returning volunteers must re-subscribe to the hamfest list to confirm their participation.
Spring will soon be here and so will the Fargo Marathon!
In partnership with local emergency responders, RRRA will once again be providing the communications backbone for the Marathon aid stations.
Please see the Fargo Marathon 2022 page for the event schedule, equipment list, etc.
RRRA communications support for the Fargo Marathon will be coordinated through the Marathon Mailing List. All operators who wish to volunteer for this event must subscribe to the Marathon Mailing List; even those who signed up on paper at a club meeting or have previously contacted the Marathon Coordinator.
First Responders, Amateur Radio Operators, and members of the public interested in becoming SKYWARN® weather spotters—and current spotters who wish to refresh their skills—are encouraged to save the date for one of the three in-person training opportunities to be offered in the Fargo/Moorhead area, or one of 5 virtual quick refreshers, during 2022.
RRRA invites those unable to attend the April Business Meeting in-person to take advantage of our Zoom link and experience our meeting remotely.
