  • The nodes are going up for the ARDEN Digital Mesh system. Once the system is up, we will get our donors and partners together to demonstrate the uses. We will need a person in charge of the scenario. We also need to incorporate it into a weekly use so that it is ready to go at a moment’s notice. W0JPJ (last month) and K0STK (this month) expressed concerned with these items. We have asked them to step forward to help make these items possible

  • June 13 is breakfast with the emergency personal. This quarter, the topic is chemical warfare. Local NDSU police officer, Bret Mayo will be speaking. This event will be held at Moorhead state student union at 0730

  • A few dedicated students have finished the Spring Tech class and will be testing tonight. Next class will start in August 23

AREDN (Amateur Radio Emergency Digital Network)

  • The system is up and running at MSUM
  • Essentia is in the works
  • The Dome has all but one signature complete
  • The ARDEN site permanent call sign is KE0LPA
  • We have a grant application into Crystal Sugar for $10,000 awarded in September
  • If you work in a tall building that could be used as a site, please contact Jim N0TSZ

Fargo Marathon

New Business

Field Day

  • West Fargo site is new this year for Field Day
  • There will be one more meeting before field day in June

Stop The Bleeding

  • Will be offered in the fall
  • This trauma training can be the difference between life or death
  • We are usually the very first responders before the ambulance arrives, so taking this class teach you can save a life
