The January Club Meeting Will Be Virtual

The January RRRA Business Meeting will be conducted through the Zoom teleconferencing service. Connection information for the RRRA Virtual Club Meeting may be found in the President’s January Zoom meeting invitation.

Club Members are reminded that annual membership renewals are due at the January Business Meeting. Available dues payment options may be found through the Join the Red River Radio Amateurs page.

Desktop Client

Desktop clients (AKA program, software, or app) are available for Windows, MacOS, and numerous Linux types. The Zoom Download Center will automatically detect your Operating System (OS).

  1. Download and install the desktop client (AKA program, software, or app) for your computer system
  2. Connect a supported camera to your computer
  3. Check your setup in the Zoom test meeting
  4. Use the Meeting ID and Passcode from the President’s January Zoom meeting invitation to join the meeting

Mobile App

  1. Install the mobile app from your device’s app store
  2. Check your setup in the Zoom test meeting
  3. Use the Meeting ID and Passcode from the President’s January Zoom meeting invitation to join the meeting

Web Browser

  1. Connect a supported camera to your computer
  2. Check your setup in the Zoom test meeting
  3. Visit the Zoom Join a Meeting page with your browser
  4. Use the Meeting ID and Passcode from the President’s January Zoom meeting invitation to join the meeting

Traditional Telephone

Use this connection method if you do not have a speaker or microphone on your computer, do not have a smartphone, or you could not connect through any of the other methods.

  1. Obtain a copy of the President’s January Zoom meeting invitation to join the meeting
  2. Dial a local Zoom access number
  3. Follow the prompt to enter the Meeting ID
  4. Follow the prompt to enter the Passcode

These commands can be entered using your phone’s dialpad while in a Zoom Meeting:

  • Star (*) 6 - Toggle mute/ un-mute
  • Star (*) 9 - Toggle raise/ lower hand
