The RRRA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the club’s return to in-person meetings with the 7PM June 15th, 2021, Business Meeting at West Fargo City Hall.
A Zoom link to our meeting room is planned for those members who are unable to—or do not wish to—attend an in-person meeting at this time. Please visit W0JPJ’s Zoom meeting invitation for connection information if you wish to attend this meeting through Zoom.
Members who are fully vaccinated (i.e. have completed their course of vaccinations at least 2 weeks ago) are welcome to attend our meeting without wearing a face covering. But they should pay attention to official signage posted in an around City Hall for potential changes to local policy.
Members who are not fully vaccinated should follow CDC Guidance for unvaccinated people—including wearing a face covering—if they choose to attend our meeting. They should keep in mind that the CDC considers attending a small, indoor gathering of fully vaccinated and unvaccinated people from multiple households to be a Less Safe activity. And attending a full-capacity worship service to be a Least Safe activity.
Members who have a weakened immune system, or who have been recently exposed to COVID-19, should consider attending our meeting through the Zoom link.
“The CDC has announced that fully vaccinated individuals can resume activities without wearing a mask indoors and outdoors. Therefore, we, at the Department of Health, are aligning with the CDC recommendation,” said North Dakota Department of Health (NDDOH) State Health Officer, Dr. Nizar Wehbi.
Studies have shown that vaccines are highly effective against symptomatic disease and hospitalization in the general adult populations. In North Dakota, 99.9% of those vaccinated are protected from COVID. Less than 0.13% of those fully vaccinated have contracted COVID-19.
Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two (2) weeks after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or two (2) weeks after a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. 1
The CDC’s Choosing Safer Activities page provides information about risk levels of a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities.
Members with questions or concerns about the Coronavirus should consult the ND Health Department Coronavirus page for autoritative information.
