Radio Operators needed for the 2022 Fargo Marathon

Spring will soon be here and so will the Fargo Marathon!

In partnership with local emergency responders, RRRA will once again be providing the communications backbone for the Marathon aid stations.

Please see the Fargo Marathon 2022 page for the event schedule, equipment list, etc.

RRRA communications support for the Fargo Marathon will be coordinated through the Marathon Mailing List. All operators who wish to volunteer for this event must subscribe to the Marathon Mailing List; even those who signed up on paper at a club meeting or have previously contacted the Marathon Coordinator.

RRRA Needs You on September 24 & 25

RRRA is conducting their 2021 Hamfest and ARRL Dakota Division Convention and providing communication support for the 2021 Fargo Marathon on September 25th, 2021.

As of the close of the August RRRA Business Meeting

  • 13 radio operators are needed to fully staff the Fargo Marathon
  • 24 Hamfest volunteer positions are unfilled

More Radio Operators needed for the 2017 Fargo Marathon

More amateur radio operators (hams) are needed to provide communications support for the 2017 Fargo Marathon on May 20th.

RRRA communications support for the Fargo Marathon will be coordinated through the Marathon Mailing List. So all operators who wish to volunteer for this event must subscribe to the that mailing list.

Radio Operators needed for the 2017 Fargo Marathon

The time of year is upon us again for the 2017 Fargo Marathon!

In partnership with local emergency responders, RRRA will once again be providing the communications backbone for the Marathon aid stations. For those that have volunteered in the past, the course is very similar to last year’s. One main difference is starting inside the Fargodome instead of out on University.
